The Office of the President has just posted proposed guidelines for supplemental military pay to be provided during the Enduring Freedom Campaign and a model communication describing the new policy. Both documents will be on the UCOP website at:

Please note that OP has requested employee comments to their offices by November 15. Please email your comments to either Lynne E. Thompson, Manager of Employee and Labor Relations and HR Personnel Services at thompson@chr.ucla.edu or Maure Gardner, Manager of Labor Relations and Compensation, Healthcare Human Resources at mgardner@mednet.ucla.edu by 5 pm on that date, so that OP can issue the new policy and guidelines in a timely manner.
